Hi, I am an independent singer/songwriter and live music streamer. My dad was a Dove award winning songwriter in the Christian Music industry and he nurtured my love for song writing and performance. I'll be submitting brand new songs I'm writing with my current team (see below) as well as songs I've made for Joliet4 (my stage name) with Grammy winning producer Justus West (Beyonce, John Legend, Ariana Grande, Mac Miller), Grammy winning mix engineer Jesse Ray Ernster (Kanye West, Burna Boy, Doja Cat) and multi-platinum vocal producer Brandon Buttner (Halsey, Jonas Brother, Sing 2 Soundtrack).
Right now, I split my time between the Midwest and New England where I perform my solo music and with my songwriting partner, Tyler Levs, in our duo band, MUTU4L. When Tyler and I are not writing, we earn a living by playing shows, weddings, corporate events, bars and restaurants. We also live stream for our patrons on Twitch, YouTube and Tiktok. When I'm home in Kansas City, I lead worship regularly, as a paid volunteer through Life Church.
My team also consists of Kevin Skaggs, a seasoned producer/mix engineer originally from LA, now based in Poland. Kevin's long career has won him two Emmy honors and a Golden Reel Award for his work on the Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch". He also has songs featured on "Grey's Anatomy" and Amazon's "The Boys". Additionally, he has worked for Giorgio Moroder, Lady Gaga, Lil Dicky, Dale Becker of Becker Mastering and he studied with Tony Hoffer through Mix with the Masters.
I met Tyler through a vocal competition and I met Kevin through a mutual friend at Jensen Communications (music PR firm). We three enjoy working together and thought we'd try our hand at writing new songs from these Taxi prompts. Hopefully we can make some magic!
